It’s September, which means it’s time for the annual Kimberley Speed Watch/RCMP Charity Golf Tournament.

This golf tournament has always been extremely popular, so if you want to be one of the 120 players, register now.

The tournament is scheduled for Friday, September 25, 2009 with a shotgun start at 1:30 pm.

This tournament has always been noted for its great prizes, and the RCMP members use the cash raised to fund a number of great charities in Kimberley, with a major beneficiary being Dry Grad festivities for Selkirk students.

Entry fee is only $35 for Kimberley Golf Club members and $65 for non-members. That includes 18 holes of golf and a steak dinner. If you just want to enjoy dinner, it’s only $20.

Please register by dropping by the Kimberley RCMP Detachment on Archibald Street or call the Pro Shop at the Kimberley Golf Club at 250-427-4161.
