Faith in town restored

The movie The Shipping News, set on the Newfoundland coast, has a scene between the seasoned reporter and the new guy, where the new reporter is asked to come up with a headline for a dark cloud on the horizon:

“Dark Cloud Could Mean Storm”

“No,” was the reply, “Terrible Storm Threatens Village”

“What if the storm doesn’t hit?”

“Village Spared from Deadly Storm”

I wrote a couple of weeks ago about my camera, which was taken. I am happy to report that it showed up this morning, in a way that meant that I would find it, but also in a way that allowed everyone to get what they wanted: the perpetrator, their anonymity, me, my camera back.

Man Loses Faith In His Town

Man’s Faith in Town Restored

Thanks.
