Canadian citizens

I have been following the Haitian tragedy and commend our governments and citizens for their fast response.

I have also followed articles such as BC leads Canada in child poverty and the study by McGill university in which 70% of Inuit preschoolers families in Nunavut do not have adequate food supplies for their children.

There are countless street people in cities of Canada who are also sleeping on empty stomachs. Maybe our governments both federally and provincially can address the problems of our fellow citizens who need the basics like food, clothing, and a warm bed in a warm room.  They do need our assistance too.
