As anyone who has been up to the Kimberley Alpine Resort in recent days can attest, construction on the Athletic Training Centre/Conference Centre is moving along quite nicely.
But as a member of Kimberley’s business community, how can the new facility help you?
The Kimberley Chamber of Commerce is hosting a breakfast meeting this Thursday, February 4 at the Trickle Creek Lodge from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. on just that subject.
City of Kimberley Economic Development Officer Heather Hornoi will discuss how businesses can participate in the economic opportunities generated by new facility.
As well, she will give an update on current partnerships and progress of the project.
Steve Bova and Bob Guenther will both be there to speak to the opportunities all sports organizations in Kimberley will find at the athletic training centre. The centre will be available to all athletes.
The presentation will be followed by a question and answer facilitated by the Chamber.
“This is the first of a quarterly series of breakfast meetings the Chamber will host this year,” said Chamber Manager Sioban Staplin. “It’s an opportunity to network and get up to date information, and to strengthen business in Kimberley.
A continental breakfast will be served at $8 for members; $10 for non-members.
