Kimberely skaters compete at regionals

Molly, Carolyn, Caralee and Zoe all had a successful regional meet.

On January 23-24 the North Star Skating Club’s Star Skaters participated in the Kootenay Regional competition in Cranbrook.

For Zoe Marina and Molly Miller this was their first competition. Molly competed in the Elementary Solo event while Molly and Zoe competed in the Shadow Dance category.

The skaters were thrilled with their gold medal performance in the shadow dance.

North Star’s senior Skaters Caralee Blackwell and Carolyn Norton have been competing for many years. Caralee competed in the Sr. Bronze Ladies event and Elements. Caralee received a silver medal in the Elements event.

Carolyn Norton competed in the Silver Triathlon (a combined event of Creative Skills, Interpretive and Freeskate) which she received a gold medal.

The skaters had a fun filled weekend of skating and certainly made their home Club proud. Caroline qualified for provincials and will be travelling to Kamloops to compete at the provincial level next month. Congratulations Girls!
