Border bust

Friday, March 6, 2101, the Canada Border Services Agency at Kingsgate Port of Entry seized a commercial tractor trailer unit entering Canada from the U.S. after locating approximately 10 kilograms of cocaine hidden in the trailer. A 46 year old Alberta resident was turned over to the Creston Integrated Border Enforcement Team with Creston RCMP Detachment personnel assisting to conduct a follow up investigation.

Value of the seized cocaine was in excess of $400,000 (Canadian).

The truck and trailer are still under seizure and the male driver was later released with conditions for a court date in Creston.
