My wife and I just finished a five-day visit to Kimberley and Cranbrook for the North American Orienteering Championships, organized by Jim Webster and the Kootenay Orienteering Club. I just wanted to say how much we enjoyed ourselves, both the time spent orienteering in your wonderful forests, and also the rest of the time just being tourists, enjoying the local sights and some fine restaurants. This is a beautiful part of the world.

This was our first visit to the area, and thanks go to Jim and the orienteering club for making it possible. Hopefully we’ll be back again
