The Cranbrook Golf Club is hosting the East Kootenay Ladies Amateur Championships today.
The tournament takes place every year, rotating among 12 golf clubs in the East Kootenay. Each club sends a team of eight players - thus 96 golfers will be competing, starting with a 10 a.m. shotgun start.
The Championship includes both a gross side and a net side.
Clubs represented are: Cranbrook Golf Club, Fernie Golf Club, Golden Golf Club, Mountain Meadows Golf Club (Elkford), Riverside Golf Course in Fairmont Hot Springs, Springs Golf Course in Radium, Radium Resort, Creston Golf Club, Mountainside Golf Club at Fairmont Hot Springs, Kimberley Golf Club, Sparwood Golf Club and Windermere Valley Golf Course.
