Kimberley conference centre grand opening

Kimberley citizens are invited for a look at the new Conference Centre and Athletic Training Centre on Thursday, November 25, 2010 beginning at 3 p.m.

"We want the public to come and see it," said Mayor Jim Ogilvie.

The event will include entertainment and tours of the facility.

One of the biggest events in the new conference center -- for which planning is well underway -- is the Association of Kootenay Boundary Municipalities Annual General Meeting scheduled for April 28 to 30, 2011.
