In celebration of Valentine's Day, Fort Steele is hosting a fundraiser for its aging Wildhorse Theatre that will feature local performers. He Said/She Said is a celebration of relationships, told through various musicians, dancers, singers and actors. The gala benefit show will be held for one night only at the Wildhorse Theatre on February 11, and will feature talented Kootenay performers. All of the money collected will go towards restoring the theatre's seats. The performance won't be all that's on the go the night of February 11. Twoonie games during the intermission will be held, and backstage tours will be offered to see the restoration work that has already been done. Tickets to see He Said/She Said are available at the door for $15, or by calling Fort Steele at (250) 417-6000. Aasebo is still looking for interested performers to take to the stage. If interested, contact her at (250) 420-7154.
